We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum SPR (Specialty Registrar) in General Surgery with a focus on Urology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care to patients, contributing to the smooth running of the urology service. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the Urology department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care under consultant supervision.
• Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records.
• Participate in on-call rotas as required, providing emergency care when necessary.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and supervising junior staff and medical students.
• Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
• At least 2 years of post-foundation experience in General Surgery, with relevant experience in Urology.
• Demonstrable skills in managing acute and elective urology cases.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and up-to-date knowledge.
