Description

As a Locum Consultant in Orthodontics, you will lead the delivery of specialist orthodontic treatments, managing a varied and complex caseload. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support the ongoing development of our orthodontic services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert orthodontic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform advanced orthodontic procedures, including complex cases requiring multidisciplinary input.
Supervise and guide junior staff and trainees in the delivery of orthodontic care.
Ensure compliance with GDC guidelines and professional standards.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Contribute to the development and implementation of orthodontic service improvements.
Collaborate with other dental and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:

Essential:

Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Specialist in Orthodontics.
Extensive experience in orthodontic treatments and management of complex cases.
Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.

Desirable:

Experience in a consultant-level role within the NHS or private practice.
Involvement in teaching, training, or research activities.
Familiarity with digital orthodontic systems and technology.
