Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to, angiography, embolization, and biopsy.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
  • Interpret radiological images and provide detailed reports.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety and care throughout all procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient case discussions.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to junior medical staff and radiology trainees.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Full GMC (General Medical Council) registration with a license to practice.
  • CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Radiology or equivalent.
  • Subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology.
  • Proven experience in performing a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
