We are seeking an experienced Locum Band 7 Pacing Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic cardiology team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic services, with a focus on cardiac device management and pacing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret pacemaker and ICD checks (both in-clinic and remote monitoring)
• Assist with the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices
• Conduct electrophysiology studies and support in complex device programming
• Provide expert advice on pacing-related issues to multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate documentation and data entry into patient records
• Participate in the training and mentoring of junior physiologists

Requirements:

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• IBHRE/HRUK accreditation in cardiac devices (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in cardiac pacing
• Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, pacing devices, and electrophysiology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
