We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Sonographer to join our dynamic ultrasound team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans across a variety of specialisms. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sonographer looking for flexibility in a locum role while contributing to a high standard of patient care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular scans.
• Provide accurate and detailed imaging reports to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process clearly and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and protocols during scanning.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Essential Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Sonographer or relevant professional accreditation.
• Proven experience in performing a variety of ultrasound scans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and continuing professional development.
