Description
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist, you will assess, plan, and deliver individualized treatment plans to patients with a wide range of conditions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing expert care to help patients regain their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with organizational and professional standards.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives and audits to enhance patient care.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, including at least one year in a Band 5 or Band 6 role.
- Experience working in [insert specific area, e.g., musculoskeletal, respiratory, neurology, or community physiotherapy].
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
