Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Clinical Oncology Consultant to join a leading healthcare team. This role offers the chance to provide expert cancer care, work with cutting-edge treatments, and contribute to improving patient outcomes in a flexible locum capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide specialist oncology care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy treatment planning
✔ Lead oncology clinics and ward rounds, ensuring high-quality patient management
✔ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to develop and deliver personalized cancer treatment plans
✔ Interpret and oversee diagnostic investigations, including imaging and biopsy results
✔ Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and oncology trainees
✔ Participate in clinical trials, audits, and quality improvement projects
✔ Ensure compliance with NHS and cancer treatment guidelines

Requirements:

🔹 GMC Registration with a license to practice
🔹 CCT in Clinical Oncology (or equivalent specialist qualification)
🔹 Extensive experience in cancer treatment, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy planning
🔹 Strong leadership, decision-making, and patient-care skills
🔹 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced NHS or private healthcare setting
