Description

We are seeking an experienced Locum Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join a leading healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead and deliver advanced cardiac diagnostics and treatment services within a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform and oversee advanced cardiac diagnostics, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring
✔ Lead a team of cardiac physiologists, ensuring high standards of patient care
✔ Assist in complex procedures such as pacemaker implantation, electrophysiology studies, and device programming
✔ Collaborate with consultants, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
✔ Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and regulatory standards
✔ Provide training, mentorship, and support to junior staff and trainees
✔ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives

Requirements:

🔹 BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiac) or equivalent qualification
🔹 Registered with RCCP, HCPC, or AHCS
🔹 Extensive experience in cardiac diagnostics and physiologist-led services
🔹 Strong leadership and team management skills
🔹 Ability to work in NHS and private healthcare settings
