As a Locum Sonographer, you will be a vital part of our diagnostic imaging team, specializing in performing ultrasound examinations to assess various medical conditions. Your role will involve conducting scans, analyzing images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular scans.
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment to achieve optimal imaging quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Analyzing and interpreting ultrasound images, and providing preliminary findings to healthcare providers.
• Collaborating effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient management and treatment planning.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Ultrasound.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Sonographer, with proficiency in a wide range of ultrasound procedures.
• Strong technical skills in operating ultrasound equipment and understanding imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
