Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team and provide vital support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This role involves working collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mental health care, assessments, and interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, identifying risks and care needs.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, DBT, or psychoeducation (as appropriate to your training).
- Provide crisis intervention and management support for individuals experiencing acute mental health issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
- Offer advice and support to families and caregivers to help them understand and manage mental health conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal and organizational standards.
- Participate in training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Essential Requirements
- Professional qualification in mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or a related field (e.g., RMN, HCPC, or equivalent).
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC, or SWE).
- Proven experience in mental health care, ideally in a community or inpatient setting.
- Strong understanding of mental health legislation, safeguarding policies, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding and Basic Life Support (BLS).
