Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for flexibility and variety in your career? We are currently recruiting for Locum RMNs to join our team and provide high-quality mental health care in various clinical settings, including hospitals, community services, and mental health units. Key Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, person-centered mental health care to patients across various settings.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses in line with relevant protocols.
Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients in managing their mental health conditions.
Respond to mental health crises and provide de-escalation support where needed.
Ensure compliance with care standards, safeguarding policies, and legal requirements, including the Mental Health Act.
Accurately maintain patient records, documenting interventions and progress in line with professional standards.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
Previous experience working in mental health care settings (hospital or community).
Strong communication, de-escalation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding and Basic Life Support (BLS).
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
