We are currently recruiting for Locum RMNs to join our team and provide high-quality mental health care in various clinical settings, including hospitals, community services, and mental health units. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centered mental health care to patients across various settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses in line with relevant protocols.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support patients in managing their mental health conditions.
  • Respond to mental health crises and provide de-escalation support where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with care standards, safeguarding policies, and legal requirements, including the Mental Health Act.
  • Accurately maintain patient records, documenting interventions and progress in line with professional standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Previous experience working in mental health care settings (hospital or community).
  • Strong communication, de-escalation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
