We are seeking a passionate and skilled Locum Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and deliver high-quality therapy services to clients. The role involves working with individuals across various age groups who have communication and/or swallowing difficulties. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing disorders in children or adults, depending on your area of expertise.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to client needs.
• Provide education and advice to clients, families, and caregivers to support progress outside therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, teachers, psychologists, and other therapists.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and comply with organizational and professional standards.
• Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects as required.
• Deliver therapy in various settings, such as clinics, schools, hospitals, or community environments.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience in assessing and managing speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and/or dysphagia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding and Basic Life Support (BLS).
