Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Locum Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients across various healthcare settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for HCAs looking for flexible working arrangements while making a real difference in patient care.

As a Locum HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' daily needs and assisting the clinical team to deliver outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Provide emotional and practical support to patients and their families.
Help patients maintain their independence and dignity at all times.
Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.
Maintain cleanliness and ensure the safe use of equipment in the healthcare environment.
Follow infection control procedures and adhere to all hospital policies.
Accurately document patient care activities and report any concerns to senior staff.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical or care environment.
Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Manual Handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
