We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Locum Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a locum RGN, you will work across various wards and departments, offering flexibility and variety in your role while making a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care in line with clinical guidelines and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor and record patient progress, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, confidentiality, and hospital policies.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditions.

Essential Requirements

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an RGN.
• Minimum of 6 months' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
• Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Manual Handling.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
