Description

As a Locum Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive podiatry services across various locations within the CCICP area. You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' podiatric needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Provide expert podiatry interventions, including wound care and management.
  • Educate patients on foot care and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Engage in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Podiatry and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in wound care is essential.
  • Proficiency in using EMIS (preferred).
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple locations across the CCICP footprint.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
