Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and rehabilitation services to patients across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, functional, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
- Provide expert advice on adaptive equipment, mobility aids, or therapeutic exercises as appropriate.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, and other allied health professionals.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records in line with professional standards.
- Support discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients from hospital to home or other care settings.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or students as required.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience working at Band 6 level in a relevant clinical setting (e.g., acute, community, or rehabilitation).
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Up-to-date mandatory training, including safeguarding and Basic Life Support (BLS).
