Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Band 6 or 7 Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiographer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting nuclear medicine services in NHS Trusts and private hospitals across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
✅ Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, following regulatory guidelines.
✅ Operate gamma cameras, SPECT, SPECT-CT, PET-CT and other imaging systems.
✅ Ensure strict radiation protection and safety compliance.
✅ Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
✅ Assist in quality control procedures and calibration of imaging equipment.
✅ Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to data protection regulations.

Requirements

🔹 HCPC Registration (for Radiographers) or RCCP Registration (for Technologists).
🔹 Minimum 2 years of UK-based experience in Nuclear Medicine.
🔹 Experience with SPECT, SPECT-CT, PET-CT, and radiopharmaceutical administration.
🔹 Classified status with appropriate radiation safety training.
🔹 Up-to-date mandatory training & DBS clearance.
🔹 Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach.
