We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Senior Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed NHS Trust in South East England. Responsibilities:-
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional independence and quality of life.
- Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and interventions to address patients' occupational performance issues.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists, assistants, and students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with NHS guidelines.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
- Extensive post-qualification experience in occupational therapy, particularly in managing complex cases.
- Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
