Description

As a Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients with a range of physical, mental, and social conditions. You will work across various clinical settings, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments of patients with diverse conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including task analysis, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience working as an occupational therapist in a hospital or community setting.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
