As a Locum Band 7 Vascular Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with vascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial, and venous studies.
• Analyze and interpret vascular ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning of patients.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports on ultrasound findings.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety during ultrasound procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Requirements:

• Degree in Vascular Science, Medical Ultrasound, or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., HCPC, SVT).
• Extensive experience as a vascular scientist, preferably at Band 7 level.
• Proficiency in a range of vascular ultrasound techniques and procedures.
