Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join a dynamic team delivering expert care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced consultant looking for a flexible locum position with competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Diagnose, manage, and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, including COPD, asthma, ILD, lung infections, and sleep disorders
✔ Provide specialist care in respiratory wards, outpatient clinics, and acute care settings
✔ Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to develop comprehensive treatment plans
✔ Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests, and imaging
✔ Support junior doctors and medical staff through training and mentorship
✔ Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research

Requirements:

🔹 GMC Registration with a license to practice
🔹 CCT in Respiratory Medicine (or equivalent specialist qualification)
🔹 Extensive experience managing a broad spectrum of respiratory conditions
🔹 Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills
🔹 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced NHS or private healthcare setting
