As a Locum Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions across various clinical settings. Your expertise will contribute to the rehabilitation and improved quality of life for patients with diverse health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with a variety of physical and mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including task analysis, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience working as an occupational therapist, preferably at Band 6 or 7 level.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
