Description

We are seeking an experienced Locum Band 6+ Rheumatology Nurse to join a leading healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide specialist care to patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Assess, plan, and deliver specialist nursing care for patients with rheumatological conditions
✔ Support and manage patients receiving biologic and immunosuppressive therapies
✔ Conduct rheumatology clinics, including education, follow-ups, and medication monitoring
✔ Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), including consultants, physiotherapists, and specialist nurses
✔ Provide expert advice and support self-management strategies for patients with chronic conditions
✔ Assist in research, clinical audits, and service development initiatives

Requirements:

🔹 NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse
🔹 Experience in rheumatology nursing and autoimmune disease management
🔹 Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
🔹 Experience with biologic therapy administration and monitoring
🔹 Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient education skills
🔹 Ability to work in NHS or private healthcare settings
