As a Consultant Rheumatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a variety of rheumatologic conditions. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the advancement of our rheumatology department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage patients with rheumatologic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, and other connective tissue diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, such as joint aspirations and injections.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of rheumatologic knowledge.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in rheumatology.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• CCT in Rheumatology or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of rheumatologic conditions.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
