Your duties will include but not be limited to: • Ensure that the NMC code of practice is always met by demonstrating and monitoring standards of high-quality nursing and care practice. Carrying out Risk Assessments and take part in GP rounds will be mandatory. • Routinely deputise for Deputy Manager for the service, ensuring that day-to-day tasks and routines are carried out to contribute to the smooth running of the service, and that the service is safe and secure. • Participate and deliver in-house training programmes, operate as an in-house assessor. The successful candidate for this post will meet the following criteria: • NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN. • Up to date NMC registration • Experienced in a leadership or supervisory role within a UK care home setting • Confident undertaking clinical assessments and in all aspects of care management • Be able to implement policies and procedures in an effective manner which are in line with the legislative, regulatory, and fundamental care standards • Efficient leader and confident in mentoring and developing nurses
