Main duties of the job We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our well-established team of over 30 Occupational Therapy staff. You will work as a part of an Occupational Therapy team with a caseload of patients in surgery, medicine, discharge to assess or stroke. The two positions advertised are within the medical and discharge to assess team. Posts are rotational. As a department we are committed to excellence and provide regular staff supervision and appraisal. The department takes occupational therapy students. In addition to meeting the requirements of the person specification, the successful applicant will: - Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC - Have enthusiasm for the profession and working in an acute/secondary care environment - Have a commitment to person-centred care and occupation-focused practice - Be able to work as part of a team - Have well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
