We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Band 5 Emergency Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in urgent and emergency situations, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:-

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Provide emergency care and life support measures as needed, including CPR and defibrillation.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and clinical conditions, responding appropriately to any changes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures in the Emergency Department
• Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Report and document any incidents, near misses, or concerns in accordance with hospital policy.
