We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our well established and experienced team.

Responsibilities:-

• Respect the confidentiality and sensitivity of staff and service user information, and follow relevant guidelines in disclosing information. Show good judgement in what information it is appropriate to access.
• Communicate with others in an appropriate and professional manner
• Provides support and training to colleagues.
• Provide a professional (nursing) perspective both verbal and written.
• To maintain accurate and appropriate clinical records and management information as required and in accordance with professional standards.
• To gain consent and build a collaborative relationship with Service Users that will promote engagement in the therapeutic process adapting to barriers in communication e.g. emotional, psychological, physical
• To co-ordinate and communicate complex care packages for defined Service Users both verbally and non-verbally through Care Programme Approach, reports and documentation. Also, through carers and other agencies.
• Inform all service users of their right to access their treatment plan, and actively encourage them to read and evaluate them.
• Demonstrate respect for the role of other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
• Understands and works within professional boundaries, related to the nurse patient relationship
• To be persuasive, and persistent with colleagues and patients, with excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to describe, concisely, the presentation, of the patients under their care to other professionals.
