Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 6 Occupational Therapist (developmental opportunities are available) within the Neurological Rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities:-

To work within the clinical team, managing your own caseload including assessment, implementing and evaluating treatment and applying specialist skills to support patients presenting with varied and complex conditions
With senior support, to provide clinical expertise in the prioritisation and treatment of patients within the scope of the conditions referred to the integrated care service. To ensure that service provision supports the objectives of Ealing Community Partners and meets expectations regarding national guideline
Primarily to work on Rosemary Ward, which has a mix of both patients needing general and neurological rehabilitation, but may be asked to cover the other general rehab wards as required
The post holder will ensure the service provision supports the objectives of the Trust
To train and supervise junior staff in the team and support students on placemen
To work with the senior clinical team in the development of a robust service delivery model, to facilitate the effective use of resources and execute the appropriate changes in order to meet the current demand
