This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical/ counselling psychologist with relevant skills and experience to join the working age adult acute inpatient service. All psychology and psychotherapy staff are integrated into multidisciplinary teams, where our input is highly valued.

Duties of the job:

• The inpatient  wards and urgent care (CRISS) work as a pathway, sharing governance structures and leadership teams.
• Funding is agreed to support the offer direct interventions to service users, and supervise the work of an assistant.
• The wards use an MDT approach and there will be opportunity to offer direct interventions to service users, and supervise the work of an assistant.
• The wards use an MDT approach and there will be opportunity to provide training and  work alongside practice development staff to enhance the psychological skill set of the workforce.
