Description

We have an opportunity for a motivated, committed, and experienced Nurse to join our Outpatients team. The Outpatient Department covers a wide range of clinical specialities including gynaecological, urology, orthopaedic, breast, allergy, cosmetic surgery, vascular, ENT and urology.

The post holder will be qualified nurse with NMC registration who has the skills to support our range of clinical specialities. Your duties will include assessing and delivering quality planned treatment and care for patients during their outpatient appointments. Additionally as an Outpatient Senior Staff nurse, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delegation of tasks and overseeing the care provided by subordinate staff.

You will work to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users. You will ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed Hospital policies and procedures. As a skilled senior member of the nursing team you will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.

About you:

Minimum 4 years nursing experience required (working as a registered nurse)
Outpatients experience including specialties such as plastics/dermatology, gynaecology and/or urology, wound care, and/or theatre experience is highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven phlebotomy skills
Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Previous experience managing, delegating, and supervising staff, while functioning as a shift leader, charge nurse, or team lead is desirable
Experience working in private healthcare setting is also highly desirable
