About the role: The main purpose is to oversee the development, training, support supervision and recruitment and retention of Physiotherapists within the Trust, and provide physiotherapy leadership and practice mentorship to Physiotherapists and colleagues. Participation in the Clinical Executive is also key within this role, ensuring that the assessments, research and role within the physiotherapy discipline are promoted within and external to the organisation. Skills, qualifications and experience needed include: A diploma or degree in physiotherapy, plus current HCPC registration A highly developed understanding of physiotherapy outcome measures, and of the models of practice and assessment tools relevant to physiotherapy An understanding of current legislation and professional ethics Detailed knowledge of the principles of Clinical Governance
