Description
As a Locum Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral part of our rehabilitation team, focusing on helping patients regain independence and achieve optimal functioning in their daily lives. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support patients' physical and mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Providing therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and cognitive skills.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve rehabilitation goals.
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in occupational therapy practice, ideally within a rehabilitation setting.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
