Key Accountabilities
• Staff Supervision
• Ensure that each member of staff receives regular staff reviews in accordance with Company policy.
• Provides day to day support to all Staff as required and in line with job descriptions relating to each post within the home.
• Provides supervision as required to any other staff connected with or attached to the home as directed by the Operations Director.
• Contributes to individual staff development by way of their formal supervision and in line with Company Training Strategies.
• Identify priority training needs within the home in consultation with the Training and Human Resources Manager.
• In consultation with the Operational Director, Regional Managers, and Training Manager ensure in house training programmes are supportive and complement Company Training Strategies for service delivery.
• Oversee a shift rota system, ensuring the most effective use of staff to the benefit of smooth running of home.
• Ensures and promotes effective and efficient communication throughout the organisation that will enhance high standards of quality care and support delivery.
• Ensure that staff are also familiar with the professional, administrative and financial aspects of the establishment to ensure the delivery of care is value for money.
