Description
Your responsibilities:
You will provide psychology assessments (including neuropsychological), formulation and treatments to service users.
Conduct risk assessments, formulations and management plans for the multidisciplinary team to implement into their service user’s care and recovery plan.
You will act as a consultant to professional colleagues on the psychological aspects of assessment, formulation and treatment of service users in a locked setting.
To coordinate company audits and to complete service evaluations and research.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Two years post-registration
To be educated to at least Master’s Degree level & be registered with the HCPC
DBT intensively trained
Full membership of an applied division of the BPS and have chartered Psychologist status with the BPS
Good knowledge of psychology theory/practice with mental health.
Has experience of strategy and development in a forensic experience desired/mental health field
Minimum of two years post qualification practice. A proportion of this work needs to have been specialist work with offenders and/or the mentally disordered
Experience of managing and supervising staff in a forensic/mental health setting
